Update-SASC & HASC staff have been working resolve differences between House passed NDAA (with Safe) and Sen Committee version, House version the baseline. Draft to be released this week (sooner than later imho), then ping pong between chambers will start. Votes after, onward!!

Just so we are clear-Dem Leadership will determine the fate of SAFE in the Senate, NOT Republicans who are onside with sufficient votes in favor. Do they take the win and help the US cannabis industry or publicly block SAFE and roll the dice..We are officially in the upside down.

NDAA moving in November. More R & D support than expected for inclusion of SAFE Banking Act. How leadership will react is real question. SAFE/CAOA? SAFE is not the jurisdiction of SASC, so Senate Banking and Dem leadership will have to ok its inclusion.
