The military healthcare system is a travesty. I am tired of front desk clerks shafting fellow service members over obscure policies that don’t benefit anyone and create a negative gain. It shouldn’t take me arguing to get things done for my Soldiers. How about just help them.

HOT TAKE: those who have been discharged for only marijuana use should have their discharges upgraded to Honorable. I have yet to arrest some Joes just smoking weed, eating their entire fridge contents, watching Reefer Madness, and then passing out. Usually it’s the alcohol stuff

We should allow leave to be transferred to other Service Members like the rest of the Federal Government is allowed to. Otherwise change the rules on emergency leave. It’s hard for me to justify charging a SM leave to bury their mother if the goal of leave is to decompress. 1/

Hot take: all Soldiers should only be charged from their BAS if their CAC gets scanned for that meal. Everything else goes to their checking account. Since IPPS-A has costed us more than a $1 billion to make and implement, I’m sure we can find a way to incorporate it.
