In June 2013 I almost went to jail
for trying to teach people.
That's right.
Nearly had to do 1 year of prison time.
and pay over $100k in fines.
For trying to teach.
They barged into my classroom
and terrified my students.
They said they were from the government.

3. Find a routine that suits and organizes you:
A routine is like a reminder...
It:
- Reduces chaos
- Improves productivity
- Makes you more professional
Do this by:
- Using calendar / planners
- Having color-coded systems
- Creating a daily structure for yourself
2) Break tasks down:
I would break tasks down into smaller step which helped me feel less overwhelmed…
WHILE enhancing my focus, making it easy to complete tasks.
Take a big task, find the small pieces in it…
Then focus on chipping away at it, one piece at a time.
3) Establish routines:
They say a structured life makes a structured mind.
Create routines to follow in your life for specific tasks.
This will help you by:
- Reducing stress
- Improving time management
- And enhancing productivity and task completion
The education industry has been changing...
How?
With:
- Technology like VR and remote instruction
- Improvements in the understanding of neurodivergence
- Quick stimulating content pushed 24/7 (TikTok, reels, and others)
We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
4. Manage impulsivity and train your willpower:
Remembering what needs to get done, and actually doing it, is a superpower.
To pull this off 98% of the time, implement:
- Mindfulness techniques
- Short pauses before decisions
- Seek support from others before making a choice
Here are 5 tips to work around memory loss caused by ADHD:
1. Work on your focus
2. Make plans for time management
3. Find a routine that suits and organizes you
4. Manage impulsivity and train your willpower
5. Overcome procrastination and focus on getting tasks done
I believe effort is the most underrated superpower.
Because while everyone is talking about success, only a few are doing the work it takes to get there.
4) Set reminders/alerts:
Having reminders works wonders…
Especially when you tend to forget a lot.
Use:
- Timers
- Alarms
- Pomodoro apps
These can help you stay on track and manage your time better.
How to make your students remember MORE (by spicing up your course):
Imagine enrolling students and spending months teaching your students...
All for 75% of them to FAIL the program.
A scenario like that is a nightmare for any education business.
So instead, you need to make…
If I were starting an online education business from scratch...
The first thing I'd do was figure out my target client.
I can teach them almost any skill...
But if my course doesn't fit their ideal:
- Pricing
- Delivery format
- Learning outcome
Then it wouldn't sell.
5. Overcome procrastination and focus on getting tasks done
Use tactics to eliminate procrastination.
By reducing the time you spend procrastinating, you get more done.
Try:
- Breaking down large projects
- Setting goals with rewards for doing them
6) Create clear expectations:
A clear goal leads to results.
If you have ADHD, being able to clearly understand what you need to do eliminates confusion from misunderstandings.
Do this by setting clear goals and having others be specific with the directions they give you.
5) Use organizational tools:
Having tools like:
- Planners
- Calendars
- Todo lists
Worked wonders for me when it came to tracking:
- Time
- Tasks
- Deadlines
- Appointments
They are must for people struggling with ADHD.
7) Simplify and declutter:
Your environment needs to be simple.
All it takes is:
- Simplifying tasks
- Organizing physical spaces
- Removing unnecessary distractions
Doing this will help reduce sensory overloading, making it easier to focus.
I achieved financial freedom, in my 20s.
