2nd time in one week Ive been within a block from a shooting. I’m on Rittenhouse Street talking to a voter as a round of gun shots rung out. This shooting happens less then 50 feet from my car. Gun Control is not an option but a must! We have to get control of this epidemic!

Last night’s endorsement meeting was a bit disappointing. Councilmember Thomas employs queers folks, he endorses queer candidates, coaches/mentors queer youth & has produced legislation that protects LGBTQIA+ folks. We failed to support someone that supports us.
