So now we know who is the most powerful man in Malaysia. And it aint't the PM. They did not close the roads in KL even for the anti Najib rally if I am not mistaken! Wow!
Syabas anak muda! For your courage and love for the country. My generation owes you an apology for handing you a broken system. But you refuse to accept it and that is the right response. Fear never brought change. Courage will. And you have plenty of that.
Aiya just make
@SyedSaddiq
PM lah. He has shown more compassion, energy, innovation, passion than anyone else in Parliament. Everyone else looks tired and outdated.
Congratulations
@hannahyeoh
on your win in Taman Rimba case in the Court of Appeal today. Bravo to your legal team lead by Prof Gurdial. Landmark judgment.
And
@pakatanharapan_
please lah. Dont issue any more statements. Just keep silent. You cannoy defend the indefensible. Also one more favour: dont ever talk about your fight against corruption again. You have wasted our time, energy and goodwill.
I may be one of PH’s toughest critics. But they are still one million times better than the last government. Time to show BN the door in Cameron Highlands. Outstation voters do go home to vote!
Umno and Pas asking for dissolution? The last thing we need to burden our economy with is an election. They don’t change. People have never come first for them.
Why did I ever worry about Malaysia? Because I judged her by her leaders and not by her people. I am so moved by the generosity of spirit of ordinary Malaysians. Let us make sure we choose leaders who reflect that spirit.
1. Who caused PN to fall by withdrawing support? 2. Who then pontificated about Parliamentary democracy ad nauseam? 3. Who now works with that same PN but with their boy at the top? Starts with U and ends with O. It was never about us.
Actually the message is good. That no one is born racist. It is harsh but a reality. No sugar coating and pretending all is well. I would say its time for this conversation. If you discourage this, you will shut down a very important dialogue.
I thot
@PDRMsia
would have learnt by now that such an overkill reponse to a rally makes it a success. This rally is already a success! If they had just allowed the initial walk for one hour it would have been over with little noise.
This does not heal! Your first instincts were right. This is a capitulation by you so we don’t need the drivel about apologies etc. It’s insulting. You’re one of my favourite Ministers and this is disappointing.
Let’s move on. The country needs healing!

Good morning Malaysia Baharu. You are one year old today. May you grow from strength to strength. And may you build a democracy that is the envy of all.
I fully support
#LAWAN
peaceful gathering tomorrow. Allowing our youth the space to express themselves peacefully is upholding their constitutional rights. They are our future. They will inherit all the mistakes we make. They have a right to seek to correct them.
Zahid seeks the court to postpone his trials on charges of money laundering and criminal breach of trust (CBT) involving millions from Yayasan Akalbudi due to the upcoming flood season. "The highway from his residence to the courts are flood prone areas." says his lawyer.
I am told that
@yeobeeyin
did a marvellous job in leading Malaysian delegation in climate change talks in Poland. She was described as “dynamic and unpretentious”. Congratulations!
Opposition must now get to work on numbers so we can quickly get stable govt in with
@DrDzul
as Minister of health and get Covid under control with a new and more competent team.
Thank you Opposition for getting your act together. We dont know the result but you gave it your best shot. Whatever the final result is I believe that a National Govt is best for the country at this time. Lets see if the rakyat comes first for a change.
And there you have it. Government of the people, for the people and by the people, in place, with Tun Mahathir at its helm as Prime Minister. Era baru.
We may argue amongst ourselves and have differences. But when a foreigner comes in here and messes with any one of us, then he messes with all of us. That’s what families do.

This poor man. He was speaking about what he saw and how he felt. And our nation ( or whoever in it) cannot take that? And we hunt him down and jail him to prove he is wrong about how we put fear in migrants? Seriously?
He cared, understood the subject, did not talk rubbish, focused on the task ahead and was a help to the DG, not a hindrance. He took his job seriously and gave it his all. Not perfect but who is? There’s more actually if you have the time and I had the space.
What is so great about
@DrDzul
? A myth, merely a myth, has grown about him these last few days. Frankly his pc's when he was minister were not impressive let alone "inspiring".
I hope
@PDRMsia
will be exemplary in the handling of tomorrow's
#LAWAN
rally. They were good in Bersih 4, and 5, and have come a long way. Please allow the youth some space and uphold the right to assemble peacefully. We made progress. Dont slip back to the dark days.
Dear President
@jokowi
Greetings from Malaysia. We are choking due to the haze and really hope urgent measures can be taken to contain and eliminate this atrocity upon the environment and our health. This cannot be the legacy we leave the next generation.
The concept of race and religion is so alien to choosing a professional one has confidence in. Does it matter when we need the best doctor or accountant?
Right is wrong and wrong is right in Malaysia folks. Convicts are hailed. Enforcement agencies clear each other of wrongdoing on flimsy grounds. Everyone has a file so they look the other way. And no one has any shame. This system has taken years to build. It will collapse.
What is happening to
@patrickteoh
is deeply troubling. What is the need for remand when he cooperated with the police? Patrick is 73 years and does not deserve to be held in custody. More so at this time when it could pose a danger to his health.
Today’s rally is putting into practice a most important and fundamental human right.... freedom of assembly. Only in Malaysia Baharu. Happy International Human Rights Day!
Apologies to
@SyedSaddiq
for daring to suggest he be PM. The attacks on him from the agents of those insecure and desperate to stay in power, or to get power are pathetic. And there lies our problem.
Chill folks. No one can act contrary to the will of the people who have spoken loud and clear and in such overwhelming numbers. I am sure Tun M will be sworn in soon.
I am speechless! Is this how we treat people who come back home to serve? Is this the Malaysian way? Harrass and demean someone to drive them out? Is this the garbage PN is offering the nation?
Today I wanted to share something different. I’ve always written down everything from meeting companies and people. Here are some observations & lessons learnt.
I really cannot look at the pictures of jubilation on May 9th without tearing up. Will
@MuhyiddinYassin
at least acknowledge the enormity of that historic moment and how we must feel today.
Both from the failed govt that has brought us to these dire straits. Unacceptable! Public must speak up and say a resounding NO if this is true. In fact it should be a NO WAY. Cmon twitter do your thing!
Ismail Sabri (PM)
Hamzah Zainudin (TPM)
Both adalah watak penting dalam kerajaan gagal skrg ni dan juga punca kes covid meningkat akibat dari PRN sabah. Kita akan dapat PM yg gagal dan TPM yg “jahat”.
Gelap masa depan negara.
Give me
@ParlimenDigital
any time over the circus I saw today.
@ParlimenDigital
MPs had so much dignity and took their roles seriously. Take a bow and now watch how you should NOT behave.
Checked with EC Chair. The cost of 2018 elections was about HALF a BILLION! A snap election about 750 to 800 billion!!!!Please politicians get together and solve this. Don’t do this to the rakyat who are at the mercy of your politics!
Politicians shd be totally ashamed for bringing our health system and the country to its knees. I feel so sorry for the frontliners. It is hell for them and they are crying out for help. Politicians, either solve this now or get out of the way and put someone in charge who can.
We have nothing to lose and everything to gain in clearing out the current leaders. Lets support only those who care about the country. Demand new candidates from the parties or refuse to vote for them. Time to show them how much power our vote has.
We have honoured our word and Warisan has signed SDs supporting DSAI to ensure the oppositon bloc of 105 is intact. The ball is now in DSAIs court to deliver.
So proud of this! Tahniah
@chedetofficial
and
@SyedSaddiq
who reached across the aisle so elegantly to make this happen. Tahniah to all MPs who attended and voted on this.

Dont lose hope. PH has the most seats and therefore enjoys the strongest mandate of the people of all parties. Thats why they should be invited to form government.
Its the year 2022 and race is still the most important thing for this country.
Not corruption, not governance,not the economy and certainly not tolerance and pluralism.
We keep walking backwards.
Constitutionally the King will appoint the person who enjoys the majority in the house which is Tun M as announced earlier by the parties. We should hang tight and allow the process to take its course and not speculate.
I hear many women not sure if they will vote. We have so much to fight for! I want to eventually see our first woman PM. Remember: we own half the sky!
It was reported that apparently relevant Ministers refused to be interviewed by Al Jazeera. Pity isn’t it since that would have been the best opportunity to present their side. It’s not too late. They can still do it.
Appointing people who lost as senators and then as Minister really goes against the grain.Whats the point of elections then? And of course not to mention the obvious appointment as DPM which also goes against the grain and PM taking Finance. Whats going on?
Thank you thank you
@limkitsiang
for your service, your humility, your integrity and your wisdom. Not many politicians can retire with all of that in tact.
We are not complacent. Just confused. Eg we are told to stay home. But malls are open. This MCO is not really an MCO. And the rules keep changing. We need clarity. And a new plan. My two cents. Thank you.
This is the 100 day celebration. How about fining every cabinet minister and senior civil servant present for not stopping the breach of SOPs including yourself
@Khairykj

The Heroes in this sorry saga are the Judiciary who acted without fear or favour despite countless attacks AND the prosecution team. Both did their jobs and served the nation well. The ZEROES: PH, who have undermined the Admin of Justice and the work of good honest Malaysians.
The violence that occurred inside the temple then at the developers office must be condemned. We did not fight so hard to bring peaceful change in Malaysia for anyone to ruin it. Please find a peaceful resolution.
Let me be clear. Boycotting an election may send a message where the elections are clean and fair. Where the elections are NOT clean and fair (as in our country), boycotting only helps those in power and works AGAINST the people who are trying to change the rotten system.
You have got to be kidding! I am donating to ordinary Malaysians who have done more for the victims than you have. Suggest you all donate your salaries to them as well for doing what you should have been doing.
