Good sports bettors are:
✅ Fearless
✅ Thoughtful
✅ Masters of Probability
Bad sports bettors are:
❌ Lazy
❌ Narrative-driven
❌ Looking for a “lock”
A lot of bad sports bettors profited this NFL season. It doesn’t work that way over 40 years.
Every

This doesn’t even factor in the absurd replay sequence before it. Both calls went against Toronto.
Trying to will Jokic to actually win something.
@HookahDoncic_77
@TheNBACentral
No white player had received a first place vote before Jokic since Steve Nash…who also won 2 erroneous MVPs in hindsight.
You’re disingenuously vindicating people who didn’t have the realistic option.
@Aunolugo
@MMAJunkie
He’s in UFC getting the call you’ll never earn. Maybe watch the video about how he’s really not trying to draw attention to himself and is amazed people like you push back at common sense.
@MMAJunkie
Even ignoring the kickboxing context, this would be a trilogy in any other UFC situation. They ran back Figueredo and Moreno four times.
Izzy and Dana are just both on the same page about protecting the gravy train. Not a whole lot of fun if Alex wins the trilogy.
@ufc
@MayceeBarber
30-27 Barber is the single worst scorecard in UFC history.
Was controlled for over 40% of each round — and not CLOSE to enough offense around it to win all three 😂
@Dalton_Risner66
I mentally peg you as one of the best guards in the league. As a Raiders fan watching from the sidelines...they could use a guard.
Might go against the CO roots, but as a native myself...not too bad here on the dark side. Hope AP calls.

Good for Leon. Genuinely don't think he's ducking Colby to say this, but it's what needs to change, or all of these top guys will start sitting forever waiting for champions to get old.
@HookahDoncic_77
@TheNBACentral
They've had six opportunities with an equally deserving candidate in all of those years I mentioned.
Embiid, Giannis/Embiid, Giannis, and Kobe three times.
Every single one of them lost.
You're either willing to listen, or you're not.
@HookahDoncic_77
@TheNBACentral
I did. Doesn't help your argument the last year he got a first-place vote, he won it, too.
The NBA media in two decades hasn't once picked black over white when presented 2 qualified options.
It *could* be a coincidence with all candidates deserving, but don't call it nonsense.
@NBA_University
Random answer....K.J. Martin from Houston.
Can log a ton of minutes. High intensity. Really solid multi-level defender. Doesn't need the ball to be effective.
@_JasonLT
Only does the offensive players a disservice when they train them on these calls in the regular season just to swallow the whistles in the playoffs, too.
@TheNBACentral
@TheSteinLine
I like Grant...he's not Keldon. Keldon has moments of really solid defense with a deep, versatile scoring bag.
Grant stands behind the three-point line in the right spot.
Boggles my mind we give Jokic points for doing a point guard's job offensively, but Adebayo can defend the perimeter like a point guard defensively and virtually no one considers him in the same tier.
He's unreal.
@WheelerJaylen
@TheDunkCentral
@FirstTake
If he and Jokic swapped injury luck, it wouldn't even be a debate.
Embiid puts up 35 and 10 without a bonafide co-star. Jokic is in a great system with a championship-level supporting cast.
@MMAJunkie
It is embarrassing how the media covers this sport sometimes. How do you not hold his feet to the fire on that? He’s fought Lawler, Woodley, Masvidal, and Usman twice in 5 years. That’s 0-2 against current ranked 170ers.
But, no…make sure he comes back on your little podcast.
@superwong18

1. Making a conference finals outside of the bubble
2. Making an NBA Finals at all
3. Being higher than a 6 seed in the second year
Jokic's MVP last year was as if in this year's NFL race with Mahomes/Burrow/Hurts, we gave it to Justin Herbert on passing stats.
You have to WIN.
@BrendanFitzTV
Fitz...how and why should we trust a middle man if they're ultimately going to be acting in the best interest of UFC?
USADA isn't a business. It's a government-assisted organization and a 501(c3). Its sole purpose is to make things fair and independent.

@VicTafur
Derek Carr's Passing NEP in those two seasons (per
@numberFire
):
2020: 84.1
2022: 53.4
If you want to argue McDaniels' system ruined Carr, fine. But there's also plenty of tape evidence Carr missed wide open reads this year.
He's the reason the offense dropped off, IMO.
@HookahDoncic_77
@TheNBACentral
You’re not, though. You’re living in fairytale land where all 6 of these white players was indisputably, undoubtedly deserving of winning the award over their black counterpart.
Just an odd coincidence! Shucks! I’m sure Tatum will beat out Luka next year! Nothing to see here!
@ProFootballTalk
My dude...the secret sauce for Deion is top-shelf recruiting.
He's not able to snag Patrick Mahomes from the transfer portal, so consider me a doubter on this take.

✅ Doesn't allow media in that criticizes him or the promotion (TRUE)
✅ Spoke to gate buys defending the swaps, and PPV sales are far more important and ambiguous (TRUE)
✅ Was caught lying about bonus compensation for fighters (TRUE)
