You need to hop out of your car quickly and there’s no parking in front of the building you’re entering. It’s OK to park in the bike lane, because you’ll only be a minute, right? WRONG. Never park or drive in bike lanes. It’s a violation and unsafe for all. PC: Ann Arbor DDA

The City of Ann Arbor has opened two overnight warming centers. Northside at 809 Taylor St. is open now until 6 p.m. tomorrow. The AADL Westgate branch at 2503 Jackson Rd. is open until 11 p.m. tomorrow. More nights may be added if volunteer capacity allows for it.

Today, the city learned that Bird Rides had deposited motorized scooters around the city for short-term use. For the safety of our community, operating these scooters on city sidewalks or leaving them in city streets is prohibited. The city will remove any scooters left behind.
