Awesome!
The wonderful people of Hinsdale, among the most blessed and fortunate in this nation no doubt will be thrilled to share the wealth and take these weary travelers into their homes for the holidays. Right?
@CWBChicago
For years and years we’d often go to the lakefront at late hours to take a puff, feel the breeze, look at the skyline……
Never had a second thought about “safety”.
This is not progress!!!
@ABC7Chicago
“That young man admitted riding the bike in question from the library to the Starbucks, and apologized for moving the bike.”
So, the bike WAS stolen.
When I'm in a "The dystopian future is already here" mood I head over to River Oaks Mall in Calumet City, IL
There's a spot by the abandoned Sears store and dilapidated food court where you can take a few puffs and feed the wildlife.

11 guns recovered, 2 stabbings, one machete gang fight, bottles thrown at cops, a cop nearly has his ear battered off his head.
Just like St. Patty’s Day, sure.
@UgoOkere
How does ending the gang database help working people?
It doesn’t.
Working people are held hostage in their own neighborhoods by gangs.
Doesn’t sound like you know that.

No wonder Albertsons wants to sell it for a $1, they're still paying over $120,000 a year for property taxes.
When the city buys it will it become exempt from property taxes? How does the community replace that revenue?
Of course it's a bad deal for area residents.
@ShiaKapos
I’d welcome him to take what I call the “75th Street Challenge”.
Stroll down 75th street in either direction between Exchange and Stony.
Bet that would wipe that smirk off his face.
@lpohutsky19
The black population is 12% in Michigan but account for 54% of the abortions.
Just a weird thing to be "proud of", even if it's a necessary evil.

“Safety comes from addressing root causes of violence”. NO. Safety comes from removing those unable to abide by social norms from society.
@repdeliaramirez
"To all Chicagoans" which to you means, "Everyone besides Chicagoans".
You want to make it illegal to talk about "replacement theory" while simultaneously you are literally promoting and implementing it.
I can't believe (or can) no one in IL has the courage to call it out.
