I get why people want an "uglier" Wapeach, but I think you're missing what Wario and Waluigi are about. They're exaggerated of versions of Mario and Luigi. Not "ugly" versions of them.
COPPA and YouTube's crappy excuse of compliance with it has done irreparable damage to website by censoring it into oblivion. Videos being marked as "made for kids" purely because they have animated content on them. Sonic Frontiers as well?! This system is pathetic.
Why is it that other platforms are excited about this, yet Twitter is the only one who complains about literally every little thing? I really don't understand why this movie is getting this much hate on here.
Can someone please explain why Toy Story 4 is considered to be a horrible disaster? I saw it myself, and I thought it was a damn good movie. Probably one of my favorites of 2019.
Apparently, Nintendo is sending out surveys about the Mario RPGs, this is really interesting. It even mentions very specific things like the original characters and battle mechanics (including Bros. Attacks, stickers, and SPM's real-time combat).
Y'all really need to stop with the Mario and Sonic comparisons: "Sonic did this and people said it was cringe, but when Mario does it, people eat it up!". Fellas, y'all need to take execution into account.
And the best part is, Mario is still a brave dude. The trailer literally showed him charging head on at Donkey Kong even when he doesn't have much experience fighting in this new world. He's willing to help people even if he's out of his element. That's Mario to a Tee.
Chris Pratt is the perfect example of a mf claiming he's been a fan of the video game character he's voicing ever since he was a kid, when in reality he knows fuck all about them and can't even make sense within his "evidence"
Chris Pratt says he was surprised about the social media backlash to his Mario casting.
“My hope is that people will come into the movie with an open mind and that once they see the film, any criticism around Mario’s accent will disappear.”

Hollywood has screwed up video game adaptations so much that once we start getting films that are actually accurate to their source material, everyone mistakes stuff that exists WITHIN the world of what it's adapting for cheap references and nostalgia bait.
@TheNCSmaster
You know, what I hate most about these? People use these as "proof" that a game sucks and constantly give others links to them just to try and win an argument with. "Just watch this video!". It's annoying as hell and just shows how some folks can't form their own opinions.
Before anyone asks, no. I'm not saying you can't have your headcannons. My main problem with the post is that they used the manual as proof that Samus is trans. Even though, that's the case and not what the devs were doing.
People are actually being pissed off at Chris for what he said, but even as someone who thinks Mario characters have personality, Pratt is pretty correct.
Wario World has gotten quite a bit of references over the years. Not sure if anyone else has done this yet, so I'm gonna make a thread that lists them.
I really loved hiw Mario Sunshine was interconnected. You could actually see other parts of the island from whatever area you're in. Pinna Park from Sirena Beach, or Ricco Harbor from Bianci Hills. Other than Mario Odyssey, I think more Mario games should have details like this.
A lot of folks are saying Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse could take that title from the Mario Movie. It's possible, but I doubt it because... well... it's Mario.
@PownicMania5000
Right? If YouTube had just followed the law, all of this could've been avoided. Yet when they screw up, we have to pay for it. Makes no sense.
Went back to this game and played it again. It's decent. Call me delusional, but I still don't see how this is "one of the worst games Nintendo has ever made." While I think it suffered the most from the free update model, I don't think it's the horrid game folks claimed it was.
Most folks who say this guy's popularity is ironic are simply projecting. They can't understand why people like him, so instead of asking fans to try and get an idea, they just pretend it's all a joke.
Roger Craig Smith has always been my favorite Sonic voice, but in the brief moment we hear Sonic talk in the trailer, something about his voice sounds different. It sounds REALLY nice, and I love it.
The new Super Mario Bros. movie and its accompanying theme park are the very sort of soulless corporate enterprise the 1993 Super Mario Bros. movie tried to warn us about.
i love the mario movie models so much which sucks because i don’t think we will ever get as close to getting such detail defined , and expressive models/animation of the mario cast in the games. they are made with so much detail and animated so nicely. i love the games too but
@misterduby
In a bunch of ways, he sounds off. When he says "Wonderful" and "It's a Me," they are good examples. This sounds like Mikey Mouse falling down a trap door.
The Mario movie mentions the star once at the star, then forgets all about it until the very end.
The climax hinges on you really caring for mario and only mario as he's the only real player in that scene, Luigi just sorta gets thrown in for some easy sympathy from the audience.
