I didn’t realize how important galleries, libraries, archives, and museums were to me until I stopped being able to visit them regularly. I’m now convinced there is no digital replacement for physically walking into a space designated for exploration, reflection, and discovery.

@web I'm trying to parse whether it's the app, or the a16z network. For instance, if Ben Horowitz invited his network to a recurring audio-only Zoom, along with a limited audience to listen in. a) Wouldn't the same names show up? b) Wouldn't it be just as impressive?

As a first time @IFLA delegate it’s great to hear president Barbara Lison describe regional caucuses stepping stones to get involved at the local level. She mentioned 1k attendees were expected this year but 2k came. What a testament given budget and travel challenges. #WLIC2022

@Austen Require police officers to live in the county/parish/township they work. A) Living among people helps you understand them better and develop empathy B) You wouldn’t be able to just leave the place you just terrorized. It would affect your children and neighbors too.
