Westcliff RFC is an RFU Accredited club run by its members for its members. Founded in 1922 it is now open and welcomes all. Amateur but wholly professional.
Hats off to our 1st XV and support staff, 2nd place finish highest ever, home play off secured, most points scored, least conceeded, most bonus points. Decent effort that!
Today please remember WRFC player Lieutenant Aaron Lewis, 29 Commando Regiment, Royal Artillery who gave his all for our continued benefit and safety, in Afghanistan, on the 15th December, 2008.
To commemorate this the Royal Artillery will sound their gun for kick off .
FINALLY !!!
Today marks the next historic chapter in the life of Westcliff RFC - the new clubhouse is officially ours !
What better way to start than a First XV match against
@esherrugby
in National 2 this Saturday 2pm KO .
Come and watch high quality rugby for free .
A tough day.
Our condolences go to the family and friends of Henley Hawks player, David Hyde, who passed away in hospital after he collapsed post game yesterday.

Congratulations to Toby Knight who is in the England U20s squad today, playing against a London Irish XV 🔥

Decent decade! 3 teams that went up and 1 that stayed up against all the odds and built the platform to reach Level 4. Some fresh faced boys that became men.
Noel Kelleway
It is with deep sadness that we have to announce that Noel died yesterday after a short illness. Noel was synonymous with Westcliff RFC for over 50 years as a player, secretary, treasurer and VP – the club and all those that knew him will miss his presence greatly.
A steady & sustained progression from L10-L4 in 15 years Not as stellar as some perhaps but as an amateur & homegrown club hugely impressive. A testament to all the players that took a step on the path and the coaches managers club officers & supporters that walked it with them
NEW YEAR AND NEW CLUB CAPTAIN
Westcliff RFC are pleased to announce Ben Dane as the new club captain.
Please join us in congratulating Ben in his new role and thanking Adam Blanche aka “Blanchie” for all his efforts and hard work in the role over the last few years.
The introduction of more youth the continued development of previously blooded youth & the reliability of 1 or 2 old heads was supplemented by a couple of key additions for the 2007/08 season. The result was a 4th promotion in 6 years and a first ever dipping of the toe in Level 6
We are desperately sorry to break the news that Dave Shaer passed away yesterday (8th April) as a result of a sudden heart attack from which he failed to recover.
Dave was a fierce and close friend to many and was held in the highest esteem by everyone who knew him.
