We are at the table ready to land a fair deal that invests more in lower income workers & keeps kids in class. It's time for CUPE to take yes for an answer & cancel the strike. These kids have endured enough of these strikes. 2,246 days out of class to be precise, since 1989.

What many forget, is that the students of the Harris era are the education workers of today. We know about “creating a crisis” & what the real intent is. We know the centring workers in the fight is key. We know working with families & communities is valuable. Shame Lecce doesn’t

It’s my understanding that tomorrow Lecce is doing a presser on back to school. No info has been provided to anyone. It is clear that Lecce has been tasked with distraction duty. Being frustrated with the MOE & angry about Greenbelt scandal are not mutually exclusive #OntEd

I lived in Ottawa for several years. Even spent a few months in Gatineau. The weather doesn’t recognize provincial borders. So could someone please explain why Gatineau has common sense but nowhere here in Ontario does?!

Stability requires investment. The PCs spent less on Ed in their drive to privatize They could not keep our kids in school during the pandemic, they attempted to strip workers rights last yr There is a common denominator to the chaos in our school & it wears tight pants #OntEd

Hey @Sflecce ! Union leader here, but unlike you I am a parent of a student w/ an IEP currently in the system AND an EA. Your divisive tactics are low base & reveal the lack of foundation for your arguments. Don’t pretend you “know” what parents want. You don’t

Yesterday @Sflecce actually said on CP24 that parents know better than "union leaders" (= the public education system) what to do with the $375 million he is dolling out as $250 "catch up" bribes. Yet another attack. How low can he go? Apparently there is no bottom. #OntEd #onpoli

A 31.3% increase in a year in PROFIT! The prices are not due to global shortages, or increased wages or any other BS excuse. It’s GREED and PROFITEERING When will Trudeau step in? I can’t imagine Ford will speak out against his biggest buddies.

With Bill 98, @Sflecce pins the blame on school boards for outcomes caused by his underfunding. But some of Ontario's provincial schools, which his ministry is directly responsible for, can't even use parts of their own facilities because they are in urgent need of repair. #onted

Let’s be clear - by punting the responsibility of ventilation & temperatures down to the school boards without adequate funding that is linked to inflation, @Sflecce has made it clear-he see education as the warehousing of students until they can contribute to the economy. #OntEd
