I saw Peter Bogdanovich interview Jerry Lewis in person in December 2008. Jerry, who had his shirt unbuttoned down to his navel, was incredibly hostile to every question; Peter was alternately fawning and visibly hurt. A sad yet illustrative little anecdote about him & showbiz.
