There’s one million reasons something like this could happen, it doesn’t have to be a character assassination tour every time a prospect has something like this happen.
@_MLFootball
@ProFootballTalk
It’s pretty simple. Don’t bet inside team facilities. Don’t bet on football.
There is an entire outline for the players too, seminars, etc.
@jasrifootball
@DezBryant
These questions are insane. The bar for the HOF is supposed to be for the handful of “best ever” at their respective positions.. not the very good players.
@AdamSchefter
So is this him admitting it or just saying he would have told them that that he did it for $20m because its dumb? I don’t get why he’d admit it after it’s essentially been disproven but I’ve seen people say that. Confused on this consensus angle on that.
Excited for year 3 of Christian Barmore, his rookie season was pretty special.
In 2021, no interior defender was double-teamed at a higher rate than Christian Barmore, yet he had the most pressures by any rookie interior defender since DeForest Buckner's 2016 rookie season.
@kguregian
Look - I’m trying to enter this space and probably should refrain from commenting on this in general but I’m also pro-player and feel like something has to be said. What is this? A hit piece on the most important day of the kids life?
This one could have, and should have stayed

See, this was my concern. You sound like a quack now.
I hardly even consume the stuff, truthfully.
But it’s not uncommon for people to site studies that aren’t complete.. or lack context.. or important info.. to push their agenda. Happens by the minute on this app.
Amidst the chaos that is ensuing following the Patriots hiring Alex Van Pelt as OC, someone needs to be the reasonable person in the room.
It’s not a re-tread in McDaniels. It’s not McDaniels-lite in Caley and it’s not the guy who couldn’t do anything with Justin Fields(Luke

Devastating for Colts fans. I know they don’t want a repeat of Andrew Luck though. Different injury, but Cam Newton rushing back from a shoulder surgery marked the beginning of the end. His throwing motion never recovered.
Jack Jones flashed elite click and close ability as a rookie.
The defensive play call is Cover-1 and Jones reads his assignments hips and clicks.. he closes the space between him and the receiver quickly and the end result is 6.
It’s going to be tough if this ordeal costs the
@iamSauceGardner
My problem with this is the physics make no sense. You can see Jones’ arm, and it clear has no wind up, etc.. so even if Sauce was telling the truth(and the video doesn’t clarify anything).. how did he hit you so hard that you needed to “ice them”, but he didn’t wind up, swing,
Last night, I did some digging to see how reliant rookie quarterbacks' overall success was on the offensive line and weapons.
The typical talking point that people present as a reason to pass on a quarterback is that they fear plugging another quarterback into the current roster
@SharpFootball
4-5 of these should have been caught/were good throws. There are a few passes that are nowhere near the receiver in the area, which screams miscommunication.
Also, this is a product of poor weapons and an awful pass-blocking offensive line.
@FieldYates
My ONLY problem with this is Pro Day numbers are infamously inflated. The schools already do that, so it makes it hard to get an accurate read on numbers.
@NFL_DovKleiman
I generally dislike Rodgers, although he’s becoming better.. but this absolutely has to be a sound bite of a larger topic… like what the NFL doctors prescribe for pain, etc.
@DakRandall
@_AndrewCallahan
Honestly, this is the part the fans don’t see or consider. He probably hears the whispers. He knows he’s not playing well. He knows the roster is poorly built. He has to tow a line because of New England’s unspoken rule of being cryptic with the media. Sounds like everything is

How do you deduce that Klemm is the problem when the personnel is playing awful?
No viable options at RT. Andrews has been steadily regressing. Strange has been horrific. Onwenu hasn’t been playing well, likely due to injury. Brown is the best performer currently, and he’s a
This Drake Maye thing is shaping up to shades of Tua Tagovailoa over Justin Herbert.
Hindsight is 20/20, but this feels like an instance where we look back in a few years and acknowledge everyone overthought Maye.
Even if that doesn’t end up being the case, the idea is to

It’s not about Japan. It’s in retaliation to NK, who fired missles near Japan as a scare tactic. SK and US aren’t gonna let them try to bully Japan. That’s my understanding anyway.
@PatsBuzz
His footwork is a disaster and he doesn't have the raw arm talent to compensate for plays where he isn't fundamentally perfect. It is why his accuracy and velocity have tanked hard.
JJ McCarthy's arm talent truly is S-tier. I love his awareness here though. These are the small things people often overlook.
In my initial watch-through of this rep, I thought he had the drag and didn't have to dip from the pocket. However, he clearly looks at it and slightly
Ending the night on a sentiment many Patriots fans have held for some time: the Patriots need a legit playmaker.
OL isn't great. However, Jones' margin for error is razor-thin. Maybe the thinnest out of any starting QB in the NFL. Every QB, even the best of the best, is
@mttymo
On the flip side, for an organization worth hundreds of millions and a $250m+ salary cap, it’s a slap in the face to him that they wouldn’t match the offer despite everything he did for the organization. There’s multiple ways to look at it.
@Bobby_or_Robert

You’re adding in the “never let anyone know” part. It would be naive of you to assume that MHJ left the important people in the dark. I feel pretty confident in assuming the necessary people were notified as he missed it for a medical evaluation.

@spectatorindex
Okay, so I’m not gonna lie.. I’m not trying to read all of that. I’m asking from an inquisitive standpoint.
Is this finding any different than the long-standing belief that it would have to be consumed in ungodly proportions or is it any consumption level is dangerous?

I’m not even a conspiracy theorist, nor am I an anti-vaxxer.. you’re chronically online my friend, your presumptions couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, I assumed you were the conspiracy theorist, as I know nothing on the matter.
I’ll do more research into it.

It is slightly underthrown, but it’s not like Wilson was burning him. The coverage was still tight. Would have had to be a well-placed ball for him to make a play on it, that early into the route.
As much as I love guys like QJ, Jaxon Smith-Njigba feels like a total Bill O’Brien/New England Patriots-esque WR prospect.
His subtle moves are elite, uses his body /head well to sell the vertical route, and is able to violently cut without losing speed.

Im ngl, and I don’t usually comment stuff like this, you’re one of the better accounts at covering the small things that feel extremely relevant to the Patriots community. Keep it up man.

Is there a world where you don’t spin every Patriots decision as the right one?
Uche is luxury for another team that’s contending. He’s a third down rush specialist that isn’t consistently winning without another dominant threat opposite of him. He’s Yannick Ngakoue-lite. He’s
Nice job by Auburn's IDL Marcus Harris(

), staying low and quickly getting to the inside shoulder of the interior offensive lineman to get under his pads and get him off-balance.
One of the best forgotten Mac Jones throws from 2022.
It’s approximately 55 yards in a straight line.
Accounting for the horizontal distance, as it was thrown from the right hash to outside the numbers, it’s even more further.
Unfortunate drop.
Xavier Thomas ruined this game. I think he had more than the six pressures he was credited with by PFF - Notre Dame OT Blake Fisher(

All-Pro is a top 1 QB for any given season. The objective is to land a top 12 QB - which is what constitutes a franchise QB, imo. You can’t expect to get the best QB in the NFL every year.
Teams that don’t have have a top-12 QB are in an eternal search of one.
