Why Saladin was Armenian? A lot of people say that he was K*rdish, Arab or even Turkish, but many don't know that his family hailed from the Armenian city of Dvin. This also explains why when he conquered Jerusalem, he killed every Christian except Armenians.

The city was the capital of Bagratid Armenia and one of the biggest city back then. In 1886 Armenians made 63% of the population in the city and 84% in 1916 before the who population was massacred during the Armenian genocide and now city has close to zero Armenian population.
