Also, when you take less calories in an attempt to lose weight, your metabolism slows down it thinks you’re starving bcz no access to food, so it slows down to keep your fat stores) making it harder to lose weight, so you eat less again and it’s a downward spiral from there..

it’s so bad and once the metabolism slows down, you absorb nutrients slower and less efficiently. it’s so much easier to eat regularly and exercise.

The fad diets and trends are insane especially for women. When I switched to prioritizing my macros (specifically eating high protein breakfast) I noticed a huge change in my energy and less cravings throughout the day. Fueling your body is soo important 😭

and when you go back to eating normally, the body stores all that food as visceral fat because it thinks it will go through starvation again. it only works as a crash diet but it’s so detrimental for overall health 🥲
