Imagine this: 19 yrs of age,told not good enough for 1st team contract. (No feedback sheets given based on perfomance stats only verbal opinion) only one place they can go is amateur football.We speak of Player pathway etc. It ends at 19yrs of age with no feedback/guidance.

Athletes going Into pre season. Before you starting hitting massage guns/ice baths n all that jazz. Prioritise sleep 6-8 hrs per night and aim to nap during the day. 🔋 Hit your macros, none of this calorie deficit crap. Your training is based on performance. Food is 🔑

My mother in law is an amazing human. For the past few years she has made it her duty to gather a list of kids who are orphaned in villages throughout lithuania.Delegates a name to each of our friends and family members. From 1.5 to 16yrs of age. Your life is their dream!!

Darkest months of the year are coming. We are going to be forced to stop socialising (to decrease "deaths") + businesses/the financial market will crash . What i fear is that, all of that above will increase the risk of suicide for many more than there is now.

Coaches pay to educate themselves but then work for free.. Croatian FA has a fantastic model. All coaches are paid and to which they should be. Maybe then we can increase the overall standard rather than "just a volunteer"

Interesting from Boris Kubla, Croatian 🇭🇷 FA coach education ⚽️: ❌ volunteers, all coaches paid even at grassroots, 💶 city budgets go directly to clubs to help sustain them, 💶clubs also get money directly from regional associations who get money when players go abroad 🏅

In the morning, put your shoes on your feet instead of slippers. Get dressed as if you have somewhere to be. Regardless of weather put a jacket on, umbrella, do what it takes to stick to a positive/active routine. Motivation comes from moving.

My wife and I were putting Seb to sleep. We always play " white noise" such as waves crashing to help soothe him. As he was falling asleep she says " Alexa play white noise" ... the house turned into a rave with " White noise" by disclosure 😆 🤣. He woke straight away 😆 🤣 😂

Played a game of soccer this afternoon and I must admit. I forgot how much of a release it is playing sport. For quite some time everything I had done felt like work & I lost the (team cohesion/physical exertion) side of it. When ppl aak what is Fun. That to me is fun.

Im not surprised seeing tom mohans teams do well. I was very lucky to have him as a coach. I dont remember much of what he said as a coach. What i do remember is how he made me feel and that was very happy and confident. Very rarely seen him without a smile.

Amateur football is utter madness. A world where football is a hobby more than likely have to get off work earlier than usual for these midweek games/earlier kick offs. Then I see certain teams playing 4-5 games in 10 days 😆 ffs . We'd be giving out if pros were to do this.

I strongly believe clubs need to have a sports pysch/pysch/mental skills coach/ call it what you wish. How many hours a week do coaches/people in clubs actually communicate verbally to players? Everyone needs to verbally exert themselves at some point. Including staff!

I'd say all the coaches who constantly play " 2 touch games " would bench kovacic. In fact your sessions would kill a player of his ability. Same for grealish etc. Dribblers are amazing to have and very difficult to play against as you can always read patterns of play

I truly enjoy observing this style of play, distances, angles to receive, short passes, runners off the ball, gk embracing his technical ability whilst having young guns up top with good link up play but also full of energy and happy to run beyond defenders. Progress 😃
