Such sad news. The greatest one-day batsman on the planet in the early 1990s and a lovely bloke too, as I found out when I interviewed him about his time at @DurhamCricket . His team-mates couldn't speak highly enough of him.

The former @DurhamCricket and Australia cricketer Dean Jones has died at the age of 59. He suffered a heart attack while covering the game in India. Jones was Durham's first overseas player as a first-class county back in 1992.
