Did you know that the Metropolitan Community Church of San Antonio (located in Tobin Hill) hosts a Saturday morning food pantry that supports approximately 300 families a week? At 5:00am, there were already 11 people waiting in line and I counted at least 7 parked cars.

This is what it’s like walking from Alamo plaza to hemisfair. No sidewalks. The only light is from the Hilton hotel. And fiesta is in less than two weeks. It’s been like this for a min. And it’s hella dangerous. @COSAGOV someone tag the mayor cos I’m blocked.

The MCC is within the boundaries of the Tobin Hill proposed parking permit program boundaries and under that plan, these cars would not be allowed to park there before 6:00am. Read that again: They wouldn’t be allowed to park here to get in line for free food.
