Primary School in The Greater Craigmillar area of Edinburgh where we ‘Raise the Barre’ through compassion, consistency, collaboration and communication
Tonight we remember and pray for our dear colleague and teacher Andrew Robertson who died yesterday. Please join me in lighting a candle for him. “Learn to light a candle in the darkest moments...be the light that helps other”
“All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle” (St.Francis) We remember one of our shining lights Matthew Greig a great representative of our school and star performer in our dance academy. You will always be in our thoughts🙏
This afternoon the staff came together to remember and dedicated the Christmas Garden to Andrew Robertson. We will upload this event later today to share with the wider community.
Liz is off on her travels after 33years of hard work at St.Francis! We will miss her but she will be back to help out in November when we will celebrate her contribution to our school with parents and children at an assembly! Enjoy your adventure Liz! 🙏
We remember Mr Robertson today on his first anniversary. The children remembered him in their morning prayers and we cherish our memories of him over the years at St.Francis’ 🙏
P7 have reached Battery park, we’re just about to board the ferry over to Dunoon. We’ll give another update once we get there!

After an emotional week for Primary 4a, the children found joy in their outdoor learning and play with Excel. The Children continued to build up positive relationships within their class bubble and focused on developing their own individual skills.
