Started my new school. Introduced myself to my class, opened up about my stammer too. Then got pupils to write their name and a fact about them on a post-it note. Got to a pupil who didn't want to read hers. It said.. "My name is ..... and I stammer too". 😭😭😭

Y11 pupil of mine had his last exam today. We've not got along this year. It has been challenging teaching him and rarely seen eye to eye. As he walked out, I shook his hand, he then said "sir, you're actually the only person I'm going to miss". Was absolutely shocked 😫

There are only 2 recognised festive days in Islam which are Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha. We therefore do not celebrate Christmas. We call Jesus "Isa" and Mary "Maryam" which is in Arabic. Thank you for taking the time to read my thread :)

Gutted that Ramadan now come to an end. It's the first ramadan that I ate around my family every single day, first ramadan that I've managed to fulfil all my prayers on time and it's the first ramadan that I've not physically been at work (made a huge difference). Alhamdulillah

As Muslims, we believe Jesus to be a Prophet of God and not the son of God. We believe God has no children or family, failing to acknowledge this takes you out of the fold of Islam and is a huge sin. We also believe that Jesus was never killed, nor was he crucified.
