@ThisIsOtto @theapplehub Tell us you've never actually used USB-C without telling us so. How exactly is it weak? I have cables and devices dating back to 2015 and they still work just fine. Never broken a USB-C port or plug in 8 years.

@UniverseIce Samsung and LG are currently sampling double-layer OLED. BOE is going a great job, but, it's not like they're ahead. Visionox, TCL etc are also doing well. It's good to have healthy competition in every segment. Samsung Display is not crying at all, they're still the leader.

@BennettBuhner Titanium needs to go away. It's unnecessary, more expensive to manufacture, has worse thermal conductivity and is heavier than aluminium. The Armour Aluminium that Samsung uses is already proven to be very sturdy and more than enough for mobile devices.

@ishanagarwal24 The usual OnePlus weak point - cameras. Inconsistent processing and the front camera is trash. Why can't they still get this right after a DECADE!? They have all the help from Oppo, but, still can't do it. Unbelievable. Also, the front looks like a 2019 phone.

@BennettBuhner Mate no.. the base and the Plus have WORSE cameras than the Pixel. The Pixel 8 uses a newer and much more capable Samsung GNK sensor, while the S24 uses an almost 4-year old GN3.

@encoword I dislike a LOT of things about iOS. It's not half as smart as Android, lacks a lot of features, very little flexibility, everything takes more steps and taps compared to Android, no multitasking, can't even upload a video in the background etc.

So, Apple is reverse engineering Samsung foldables and foldables from other manufacturers too. But, using a Samsung display on a foldable iPhone prototype broke within a few days & failed the test. Maybe they need to improve their designs.. experience matters. @sondesix

So, a few things about the #GalaxyS24Ultra - the brushed titanium feels a million times better in the hand than the polished Au. - the display is indeed a bit muted vs the S23 Ultra. More accurate. - One UI 6.1 is much more refined than 6.0. - The corners somehow feel better.

@TheGalox_ They're not even competitors in the real sense. The Vision Pro is a niche product with a tiny market. It's useless in the real world, but, it'll give the industry a major push. I'm glad Apple did it, but, it's a very beta product that's more of a novelty as it stands today.

@sondesix Comparing just daytime photos is absolutely useless. That discussion ended about 5 years ago. Almost any midrange and upwards phone can take nice still photos in good light. It's low light photography that matters and VIDEO.
