Today is the last day of the Slung Low foodbank. 15 months. Hundreds of volunteers. Thousands of donations. Hours and hours and hours of lift and carry and load and unload. So many people spoken to in moments of crisis. And some in moments of relief. 15,000 deliveries.

Homeless fella came by the other day and we got him some clothes, warm gear. He came back today and volunteered packing bags for three hours. Then took his parcel at the end of his shift. Back to his temporary Accomodation. This isn’t charity. It’s politics. It’s defiance.

I think it’s actually great that they’re reducing the number of vaccines to the north so that there’s an equal distribution nationally because I don’t know how we’ll even spend the mountains of arts and transport funding coming our way in return. Right?

Theatre recently asked for meeting with me then cancelled it with few days notice, cost me a £200 train tix Rescheduled (I find it hard to say no) and then cancelled it again because they no longer want to meet me Just in case anyone starting out thinks the bullshit ever stops
