Tron's popularity should not be dismissed. In Argentina it was notable. It really is cheap! (ofc b/c it's centralized). Ethereum mainnet won't compete on price. But *rollups* can compete, while being cheap *and* secure. Let's elevate rollups and make Ethereum accessible for all.

Correction: for $350/month you can have *someone else* run a node in *their* datacenter. If you want to actually run your own Solana node, you need costly hardware + 10Gbps internet, which excludes most developing regions and most people in our world 😔

Those who say PoW is secured solely by “physics” and “energy” are confused. How do you get the energy to mine PoW? You BUY it. With MONEY💰 Both PoW and PoS are Proof of ~Capital~ But PoW is just PoS with extra steps (and with economies of scale savings for the rich 🤑).

To be clear, not critiquing because Hedera was hacked (more that it was paused). Hard to foresee hacks. But it’s not hard to see alignment with Ethereum values. Sadly those above projects just don’t seem to fit. ETH events should elevate projects that align w/ Ethereum values.

This is not how name systems should work. Name speculation / squatting is bad for everyone except for the squatter. They buy a name (“bankless”) wait for others to make that name valuable (the actual Bankless team) and then they sell the name for unearned profit made possible…
