No jinn can enter your house if you say bismillah when entering or exiting your house & you say bismillah when opening or closing your windows. Teach this to your family members.
This is the scariest picture for Muslims!
Ibn Mas’ood said: “Something will come and take the Qur’aan one night and not one aayah will be left, either in the Mus-haf or in the heart of any person, but it will be taken away.” (Al-Daarimi - Saheeh no. 3209)
The Prophet (saw) said: “Whoever says in the morning and in the evening Hasbi Allah laa illaha illa huwa ‘alayhi tawakkaltu wa huwa rabb ul-‘arsh il-‘azeem 7x, Allah will suffice him for what concerns him of the affairs of this world and the Hereafter.” (Ibn Sunni - Sahih Hadith)
The next time you’re tempted to commit a sin, say to yourself, ❝Why should I spoil my relationship with such a wonderful Lord, Who has been so kind to me?❞
Instead of spending £20,000 on a wedding in a hall with a 5-course menu, why don’t families do the full nikah and walimah in a masjid (with one dish & one dessert) for <£3000 and give £17,000 towards the deposit of the house of the newly-wed couple?
Ever wondered why the Prophet ﷺ loved Khadijahؓ so much? He said
She believed in me when people rejected me
She trusted me when people called me a liar
She sacrificed [all] her wealth when people left me deprived (Bukhari & Muslim)
In short, he gave her all his love for hers!
Nikāh (Islamic marriage) is for life. The vows of ‘qabūl (accepting one another) at the time of Nikāh are serious intentions to stay together for life!
Stop treating Nikāh like a light matter, almost as if you bought something from the shop with a returning policy!
As we wait for the news of Eid, those who worshipped Ramadan will disappear soon but those who worshipped Allah will remain and continue the same.
Ramadan may come and go but Allah doesn’t come and go!
When someone calls you a failure in life, know that only Allah writes your fate, not them! When I was young I was kicked out of my local mosque 2x and the teacher yelled, ‘you will never become a Hafiz’! Today Alhamdulillah I am a Hafiz that has led teraweeh for 22+ Ramadans.
The reason why Allah started the Quran with الحمد لله ‘All praise belongs to Allah’ is because it’s the no. 1 thing humans lack in. They focus on the few negatives in life among millions of God’s blessings & as a result, they lack appreciation. So Allah is saying ‘Appreciate!’
The Prophet ﷺ said,
❝No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that.❞ (Bukhari 5641)
Apart from Ayatul kursi, the following will protect you from jinns at night. Many have benefited from this.
Abu Mas’ūd رض reported that the Prophet ص said, ‘Whoever reads the last 2 verses of Sūrah Baqarah at night, [the 2 verses] will suffice him’ (Bukhāri 4008, Muslim 807)
Surah Kahf which is to be read on Fridays teaches us that - like the boys who hid in the cave with their faith, as mentioned in the surah - once Dajjal comes out, the only things believers can do is hide from him with their faith. So the question is how strong is my faith?
It’s a shame that so many people have a negative perception of God (and always think He wants to punish) when there are verses like the following:
“Why would God want to punish you if you are thankful and believe [in Him]? God is Most Appreciative and All-knowing” (Qur’ān 4:147)
One of the beautiful names of Allah is Al-Wadūd, which means the One who loves without a reason to love. So take advantage of calling Him Yā Wadūd (O one who loves without a reason to love) over and over again!
Many people found Allah...
...during grief
...at a dead end
...in darkness
...when lost
...in hardship
...when desperate
...or during poverty.
But only a small percentage found Allah during a prolonged healthy, wealthy, trouble-free and comfortable period of life.
Imam Shafi’i رح said,
“There is a verse in the Quran that every wrongdoer should be terrified of.”
He was asked, “Which verse is that?”
He replied:
وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّا
❝And your Lord never forgets❞ [19:64]
The next time you’re tempted to commit a sin, say to yourself, “Why should I spoil my relationship with such a wonderful Lord, Who has been so kind to me?”
Umar ibn al-Khattab رض reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
❝Do not exaggerate my status as the Christians have done with the son of Mary. Verily, I am only a servant, so refer to me as the servant of Allah and His Messenger.❞
(Bukhārī 3445)
Calling Allah is simple!
No phone needed.
No connection required.
No WiFi.
No appointment.
No office hours.
No doorman.
No queue.
No interpreter.
No miscommunication.
No hassle.
Just turn to Him and make a dua (call) to Him anytime and anywhere!
Are you Following The Crowd?
When Umar bin al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه) was walking in the market, he passed by a man who was supplicating,
اللهم اجعلني من القليل اللهم اجعلني من القليل
“O Allah, make me from the few! O Allah make me from the few!”
So ‘Umar said to him,
‘O my Lord, You blessed me with Islām when I didn’t ask You [for it], so bless me with Jannah while I’m asking You [for it]’ - Imām Shāf’ī (Siyar A’lām Nubalā)
❝Don't be deceived by a man's prayer or fasting. Anyone can pray or fast. A person who prays and fasts but doesn't have amānah (trust/reliability) has no religion.❞ - Umar bin Khattāb رضي الله عنه
Most of the Du’ās in the Quran begin with us addressing Allah with رَبَّنَا (Rabbanā) because ‘Rabb’ means 3 things. He is the One Who:
1. brought us into existence;
2. provided us with everything we have;
3. and continuously sustained those things we have.
One may insult the Prophet ﷺ but will never be able to remove his sunnah (adopted lifestyle) from Muslims
And one may burn the Quran but will never be able to stop the multi millions of Muslims that read & memorise it everyday
The real Quran & Prophet are part of Muslim lives!
Send your children to a masjid for them to learn Islam, as opposed to doing private tuition at home. This is because the companionship of hundreds of Muslims in the masjid will anchor a deep Muslim identity in your child for life.
Umar رضي الله عنه was attacked while leading the fajr prayer and, though blood was pouring out from his wound, his question to the companions was: “Did I complete my prayer or not?” (SubhanAllah)
If you don't know how to ask Allah for something while in sujūd (prostration), don't worry; keep praising Him in sujūd (Subhāna Rabbiyal A'lā) and let Him read your heart!
❝Surely, He knows very well what's in [their] hearts. Would He not be aware of whom He created?❞ 67:13-14
If you ask ‘why repeat the dhikr of Allah’, then take a look at the effects of repeating advertisements. Repetition engraves the message in the mind. So when you say Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest) so many times you eventually see the greatness of Allah everywhere!
❝The Prophet ﷺ prayed for Allah to bless the mornings of his ummah. So get up early and start your day and see how much you get done early in the morning. To do this you must sleep early❞
Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal رحمه الله was asked, “what is the distance between us and the Throne of Allah?”
He replied, ❝A sincere dua from a sincere heart!❞
Imām al-Shāfi’ī remarked, “There is a verse in the Quran that every wrongdoer should be terrified of.” He was asked, “Which verse is that?” He replied, “‘And your Lord never forgets.’” [Surah Maryam; 64]
(May Allah forgive our sins. Āmīn)

There’s approx 70 days left till Ramadan. If you wait till its arrival to do extra worship you will be fatigued after a few days. So build your stamina from now by making a timetable to increase your worship daily little by little. You’ll be so happy you did! YOU SNOOZE YOU LOSE!
Umar narrated Prophet ﷺ said, ‘none of of you performs wudū properly & then says ‘ash-hadu allā ilāha illallāhu wahdahū lā sharīka lahū wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhū warasūluh’ except all 8 doors of Paradise will open for him, he can enter from any door he wishes’ - Muslim
❝When Allah wants to show goodness to his servant He creates a voice in the heart that advises him: commanding him to do good and to stay away from evil.❞ ~ Ibn Sīrīn رحمه الله
If you want to improve the concentration in your salāh (prayers) then pause for a good few moments beforehand and immerse yourself with the remembrance of Allah, think of yourself being in the presence of Allah, where nothing else exists except you & Allah! Then start your salah.
Yahyā bin Mu’ādh رح said, ❝The cure of the heart are in 5 things:
1. Reciting the Quran by pondering over it
2. Empty stomach (i.e. eating less)
3. Standing in prayers at night (qiyām)
4. Beseeching [Allah] at suhoor (pre-dawn) &
5. Sitting in the company of the righteous.❞
A blind man put effort into reading the Quran and he reads with such beauty, while many who are able to see keep making excuses and saying they still haven’t found the time to learn to read the Quran. What a shame on those people!

One of Allah’s names is Al-Haqq, which means He is nothing but reality, truth & One who will never perish. And just like His name - no matter what someone does to hide, twist or bury the truth on this earth - the truth on Judgement Day will be established for every victim! ✊🏼
Jealousy is a disease of the heart. It can lead to the worst crimes on this earth. It’s cure is to believe in and to be pleased with Allah’s qadr and how He has distributed His gifts among His servants.
Love of the Prophet ﷺ is a massive part of faith but it should never surpass the love one has for Allah. If it does, something is seriously wrong.
Unfortunately, some Muslims have more faith in the intercession of the Prophet ﷺ than the direct forgiveness of Allah.
When Surah Fatiha told us to ask for the straight path (a concept), it followed it immediately with the mention of the people of the straight path (exemplary models). Thus, Islam cannot be learned through books (concept) alone. It must be accompanied with real exemplary teachers
❝Never say a person has good character, until you see how he behaves when he is angry & never say a person is righteous until you see how he controls himself when he is faced with temptations.❞
–Umar Ibn Al-Khattab رض
Sharing is caring! The Prophet always shared his food with others.
Jābir رض reported that Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said:
“The food of 1 person is enough for 2;
the food of 2 [people] is enough for 4;
& the food of 4 [people] is enough for 8.”
(Sahih Muslim 2059)
They asked a scholar: ❝What is the proof of Allah's presence?❞
He answered, 'leaves of a mulberry." A sheep eats them and produces milk, a bee eats them and produces honey, a deer eats them and produces a musk smell. A caterpillar eats them and produces silk.

Who should say Salam first?
Abu Umāmah رضي الله عنه narrated, "They said: 'O Messenger of Allah! When two men meet, which of them should say the Salam first?' He replied:
❝The nearest of them to Allah!❞" (Tirmidhi 2694. Sahīh)
Being bombarded by shaytan with doubts about Allah, the Prophet ﷺ, Quran or Islam will happen to almost every believer at some point in your life.
Best thing to do is to remember Allah abundantly each time you’re bombarded. If you keep doing this the devil will leave you alone.
Someone asked Hasan al Basri رح,
❝What is the secret of your piety?❞
He replied: I understood 4 things:
1) I understood that my Rizq (provision) cannot be taken by anyone, so my heart became content.
2) I understood that no one can do my actions (worship) for me, so i
Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah رح said, "There are six stages to knowledge
1. Asking questions in a good manner.
2. Remaining quiet and listening attentively.
3. Understanding well.
4. Memorising.
5. Teaching.
6. [and it is its fruit] Acting upon the knowledge & keeping to its limits."
