My old neighbour tells me that in the old days there were Milkmen who every morning drove an Electric Vehicle & delivered milk in glass bottles with foil caps & who would pick up the empty bottles. This is the greenest thing I have ever heard! Why did we stop this?

Apparently in the old days you got meat sliced & wrapped in paper, cheese & butter cut & wrapped in paper, all your shopping went into a free brown paper bag & people would buy fish'n'chips wrapped in paper & newspaper. The old days were pretty green it seems
