This is why you cannot judge #Cardano network speed simply by TPS, because its EUTXO model can do more within each transaction than the Accounting model can. You can send anything, and get anything back, and do all sorts of "stuff" "in the middle".

Take @Nba . 2 team trade. 3 players traded for 2. In a EUTXO, u send the 3 plyrs and receive back 2 in 1 transaction. w/ the Accounting model, you would have to trade 1 plyr for another TWICE + send the third plyr separately. 3 total tx. This is how the Accounting model is limited

So Cardano, which uses a Nakamoto-style consensus (longest chain) like Bitcoin, is basically just a PoS version of Bitcoin, with native smart contracts (the E in EUTXO). A chain that has never been hacked.

In fact, by allowing more to be done in the transaction, is how you unlock smart contract function - natively. Right? This is fundamentally how tokens are “native” on Cardano, as opposed to how ERC-20 tokens are a separate “thing” on Ethereum. (too noob to explain this correctly)

COVID-19 took the world by storm, shutting down 1000s of businesses. Face Time Agency couldn't operate anymore. To add to the misery, I was diagnosed with kidney failure and put on dialysis where I'd go to the hospital 3x a week. This was the toughest time of my life.

Might as well continue explaining my understanding of #Cardano , simply. So, #Bitcoin follows the “Nakamoto-style consensus” which basically means longest chain wins. I won’t try to simplify further but, we can say that this way has worked. Bitcoin has never been hacked.

Contribution (in TX fees), not wealth, should determine voting power in Cardano. This should replace 1₳=1v or quadratic voting. It would better recognize daily users whose voting power dont reflect their contribution to Cardano. @IOHK_Charles @cardano_whale @RichardMcCrackn

Vote DEMU in Catalyst! After 2 years, we launched the @DEMUPro Jukebox, a token-gated music player. We made $1k+ in fees (10%) from 8 artists. We've generated less than 200 txs but it would take 3.3M song streams for artists to earn as much as they did w/ DEMU. #buildinpublic
