Scump hasn't fallen off at all. Considering he turns 27 in June, and he's the oldest SMG in the CDL, his huge maps for #OpTicTexas feel all the more impressive. He has his days when he is still the best Call of Duty player on the map.

The Dallas Empire started the 2020 season 1-3, and won just two maps in the three losses. People were already calling for Shotzzy and iLLeY to be dropped. I'm not here to tell you that OpTic Texas is going to flip everything and win a world title, but it's week one.

It wasn't a pretty loss for #OpTicTexas , but there's a scenario where they needed that to happen too. Texas was never going to go undefeated the rest of the season. OpTic knows some weaknesses, and was honestly not playing perfectly in Stage II, just well enough to win.

That glide bomb was hilariously unlucky. #OpTicTexas won anyway. I don't think Texas played well today, but it played well enough to win against this Seattle team. OpTic probably not pulling out the nerd strats in these qualifier matches, but doing enough to get wins.

I think #OpTicTexas just showed us a bit about how control will change with the tick update instead of kills four round 5. OpTic played far more heavily at A on Gavutu than teams usually do. Giving up A for free isn't much of an option anymore. OpTic did a great job that round.
