This Kaani Gas “Cordia Subcordata Tree” in Baarah is over 400 years old. The tree is believed to have rooted from a pole used by Boduthakurufaanu to build the sail of Kalhuohfummi - the boat that saved the nation from Portuguese rule.

Matheerahfulhi bears the venerated tomb of “Shareef al Makki”- an anonymous individual.
This tomb is regarded as a talisman to put forth a Nadhuru - a spiritual vow to proffer something precious in exchange for a granted wish.

Strolling through these venerable traces of Sultan Muhammed Thakurufaanu at Utheemu Ganduvaru dating back to over 500 years has been the most significant element of the rally so far.
