Today, we are replacing our plastic sea sickness bags with paper ones on all our ferries in an effort to tackle plastic pollution in seas and on beaches. Per current operations we commute an average of 26,000 passengers on sea, which is around 9.5 million commutes per year.

Land reclamation component of K. Maafushi Land Reclamation & Shore Protection project is complete as of 14th June 2020. 25 hectares were reclaimed under this project. The first rock boulder barge needed for shore protection works is set to arrive on 25th June 2020. (1/3)

The asphalt paving works for S. Hulhumeedhoo, Bahaudheen road construction project is now complete. 50mm thick asphalt was laid along the 2.2 km road, and we are set to begin finishing works needed for project completion. (1/3)

We have completed the construction of GA. Kanduhulhudhoo quay wall well ahead of schedule. The project, awarded on 27th March 2019, was estimated to be completed in 350 days. Project work includes the construction of a 414m quay wall and 2,310 sqm of paved area.

Work on Hdh. Nellaidhoo Harbour is well underway, with overall 30% project progress. Harbour dredging work is currently ongoing with 45% completion. The estimated value of the project is MVR 47,623,290.28. The project was awarded to us on 27th August 2019.
