part of my NFT gaming thesis is that the cost of entry should be free, and that letting anyone mint a free NFT to play your game won’t cannibalize the value of more desirable NFTs. You can ball just as hard in starburys as jordans, but collectors still desire jordans more

I’m a huge graph fan, they truly understand progressive decentralization. There was a period ~6 months ago where it felt like lotsa devs were frustrated, planned their own indexing. I see a lot less of that, perf improved a lot. I’m still on hosted service, but there’s a path out

i think my favorite part about the clocks is that I'm using a bunch of things from some of my favorite web3 devs - @dhof pointed me at a font he deployed onchain for Corruptions, using a bunch of libs from @divergenceharri @divergencearran and @dievardump 's signed minting

I’ve been hanging with @zerobeta ’s @finidotworld on my prototype and never realized how many animations there are? It’s really fun! But feels like we made some mistakes along the way with caching things, or tokenUri spec, that really hurt dynamic projects like this

im frustrated with dapp multichain UX. maybe i should write a blog post but quickly 1. you don't need a wallet to fetch chain data! use a read-only provider for any contract calls that don't need address context this also means not asking me to connect wallet when landing!

been working on some cool things I’m hoping to share this week. eip3668 OffchainLookups in a meta-transaction context, using an rpc to prove L1 NFT ownership. Not hugely different from previous meta-tx work, but more permissionless if still centralized

@Optimism i'll start here - if i were betting on this, I would put my money on @0xShiroi 's You Are Here. Conceptually brilliant, aesthetically rich, and medium specific. could not be done without blockchain or the EVM.

migrated all the @wrasslersgg gaming contracts to @arbitrum nova this afternoon. i love when stuff just works, just needed to swap out a couple service providers for things like rpc provider and rng. still need to sort out an indexer, might just deploy my own graph-node
