Interesting shadow bokeh. Usually you get this FX from light passing the a wide aperture on a lens with shallow DOF, long lens. Here it is caused by the leaves simulating the aperture.

In Maya, if you extrude a 1 degree curve on another one on the X axis, you'ill get a deformed surface, but it works in Z. I reported that bug in 1997. 2023, 26 years later, still not fixed. And I submitted it many times over the years. They just don't care. Long live Blender #b3d

I love chatGPT for writing simple addons for Blender. Just made one that allows me to change the paths for textures and alembics files. No need to write the entire path, just the part you want to change. Faster than "Find missing files" which doesn't work for modifiers. #b3d
