Quick tip for Byleth players: If you need to anti-airs a character approaching with a projectile (eg Pika TJolt), use sideB. You'll clank with the projectile, then the hitbox will negate and allow your opponent to land a full combo on you while you're in endlag. Try it out!

PSA: the way Ultimate recognizes bananas to activate a *trip* animation is by measuring the COLOR contrast between the banana and the ground surface so if the floor is yellow, the banana actually won't be recognized. Diddy players should ALWAYS ban the yellow stages

Re: hard work in smash, I think you should do whatever you need to achieve your goals and it's okay to not want to be #1 . Most important takeaway is that Melee players are harder workers, play a game that requires more skill, and are less awkward in real life than Ult players
