If you get out of a Tesla in a hurry, mistakingly thinking it’s in park mode while still in drive mode, you’ll be ok cuz once you unbuckle the seat belt & your butt detaches from the seat, the vehicle will automatically switch to park mode. Run-away mode is unavailable for Tesla.
