@sarahbeth345 I left Pantsuit Nation almost immediately after I was added to it after this kind of crap. Now I feel like I do is delete requests to be added to Occupy Democrats. Gag.

Scenes from downtown PDX one day after the mask mandate is lifted: people with masks outside, people with masks inside, and a sign on the downtown fire department door stating that playgrounds, skateparks, and sport courts/fields are closed.

Homelessness continues to worsen in Portland. More money won’t fix it. Since 2015, the city of Portland has poured $1.7 billion into “homelessness”. This is NOT including state/county money or the Metro “homelessness tax”, expected to collect $2.5 billion in 10 years.

The dismissal of this case involving violent felony charges is part of DA Mike Schmidt’s “restorative justice program”. Vote Nathan Vasquez for Multnomah County District Attorney if you want change. @VoteVasquez24

Update: Violent Portland Antifa member Alissa Eleanor Azar had her felony Multnomah County case dismissed by Judge Judith Matarazzo ( @DAMikeSchmidt / @MultCoDA also dropped other charges). The militant was originally charged with multiple charges of assault, riot, robbery and more

@CommissionerRG @trimet I am so sorry. This is absolutely insane. This is why we need a strong mayor. Thank you so much for your service and for running for office again.

The contrast between our weeklies couldn’t be clearer. Willamette Week is elevating investigative journalism in Portland. Meanwhile, the Mercury is looking more and more like a Snapchat run by underemployed Gen Zs out of a houseshare.

The Drug Policy Alliance sold Oregon the M110 drug decriminalization measure. Oregonians have heard quite enough from this out-of-state interest group and we’re tired of watching our family members, friends, and fellow citizens die on the streets of overdoses.

Why are people leaving Portland? 1) the homelessness crisis is out of control; 2) taxes (highest income tax in the country and still no resolution to reason #1 ); and 3) “Portland’s robust tenant protections” are driving out landlords.

Wait till you see the @kevinvdahlgren video of the enormous, dystopian homeless favelas right on the Willamette river in Portland. And they all have boats. We are so completely lawless and off the rails, it’s hard to overstate what’s going on here.

Of course, tent favelas, fentanyl, arson, and chasing old ladies down the street with hatchets will remain permissible in the zone. Just not gas-powered vehicles.
