I would say the main difference between the cars is the colour, the McLaren is orange (‘papaya’ is the technical term) and the Aston Martin is a shade of what us experts like to call ‘green’. As for the rest they’re pretty much the same, both have wings, engine and a cockpit. 🔚

2022 Sporting Regulations are ‘published’ now - so I can share the main changes for 2022. The biggest change is that cars making Q3 no longer have to start on the tyre they set the fastest time on in Q2 - ie free start tyre choice for the race for all. 🧵 #F1

Actually with F1 cars in the modern era some of the biggest differences can easily be spotted by the naked eye, without using a wind tunnel nor CFD - especially if you know what you’re looking for! 🧵
