Saban is right. The current status of college football is not sustainable. It’s too chaotic and lacks the structure needed for fair competition. It will change and become more orderly. We are living through evolution because nobody in charge got out ahead of what was inevitable.

Texas Tech fired its coach in October, hired its new coach in November, right off the eventual Big 12 champs staff, and won a bowl game with an interim coach who has already accepted another job. The Red Raiders are team 2021.

Mark Emmert says the NCAA is looking to move the Final Four out of Mercedes-Benz Stadium into a smaller venue in Atlanta. Regional sites could also be moved from the currently scheduled arenas to smaller venues in same cities. The plan is to keep sites for the 1st round as is.
