When Elinor Ostrom applied for a PhD in economics she was turned away. Despite this, Ostrom became the first woman to be awarded the Prize in Economic Sciences.

Remember a few months ago when Chadwick Boseman launched operation 42 and gave away $4.2M to help black hospitals with buying PPE for COVID-19 and the list of 5 epic films and in past 4 years. This is what it looks like to die empty giving life your all and serving your purpose.
This is a powerful study that provides evidence that trauma can pass down the generation line. It also showcases the power of the causal inference toolkit of applied researchers

A strong agree -- gas tax holiday is likely a bad idea that will slow the path to lower gas prices! If we want to make something cheaper: reduce the cost of public transportation. This reduces gas demand, preserves choice and is flexible public policy.
Whatever you thought of the merits of a gas tax holiday in February it is a worse idea now. Refineries are even more constrained now so supply is nearly fully inelastic. Most of the 18.4 cent reduction would be pocketed by industry--with maybe a few cents passed on to consumers.

One way to test this theory is to report, without naming the company, the fraction of workers who are under-represented minorities both at entry level and at the management level. If the numbers reflect this hiring policy otherwise its just talk to make the writer feel good.
