🔥You can tell me velocity over fastball command and you’ll never convince me. I love velocity, but its everywhere now. You can train for extra ticks of velocity, but you’re an outlier if you have + command. Coaches are counting outs, not velocity. Outs get you your next start

Those were my thoughts exactly It’s kinda wild to think about how Tommy John is getting talked about so much and the injury rates are high But almost 100% hit rate of former players brain tested had CTE in it But football is too big to fail and people are willing to risk it
