What - and I cannot stress this enough - a colour combo! 🥰🥰 This is the new Japan special edition kit, made in collaboration with designer Nigo (of BAPE fame). The colours are taken from the Japanese sweet treat sakuramochi, and all parties nailed this one IMO.

As much as I understand the prevailing sentiment around retro remakes: - retro shirts offer an affordable alternative to extortionate vintage prices - they aren't "knock-off". Legitimate retro shirts are a welcome alternative to fakes - the world doesn't need more gatekeeping

Really cool to see keepers across La Liga wearing black in honour of the legendary José Ángel Iribar who turned 80. Iribar was famous for wearing the colour. Teams without black keeper kits in their 2022/23 collection even wore teamwear (see Claudio Bravo in the 4th pic).
