I like P3R for more reasons than “being able to control the party now.” I understand and respect if you didn’t like it, but I genuinely think this game improves on P3 in every single way. I guess we love P3 for different reasons but P3R for me takes a good game to a masterpiece

- Horrible balancing - Worse art & cutscene direction (the menus look nice at least) - Interesting gameplay features removed (risk reward mechanics, multiple weapon types) And a lot more. It's P3 but worse in nearly every way. But hey, at least you can control your party now

P3R definitely has some problems with it, I think that every game to ever exist has problems with it, but i think a lot of original P3’s faults are ignored and now praised and claimed to be “ruined” in Reload as if Reload didn’t improve P3 in a lot of ways as well.

Just because it’s a definitive way to play, doesn’t mean it supplements other versions- artistic expression and as an important part of history CANT be replicated- but P3R can still be considered definitive at the same time.

I might be taking a temporary break from Twitter for a few weeks. My feed has shifted to almost no Persona, and everything I see is just overwhelmingly negative from every part of life. I just want to take some time to sort of enjoy myself and have some positivity in my life. ❤️

@hardcorerizzfan @SkyRaiderG7 Makoto’s resolution at the end of P5 was very much “be the change you want to see in society.” It’s a much more grounded and real way to solve society’s problem because believe it or not the metaverse and special demon powers aren’t real.

I’m going to hold off on discussing this game further. A lot of people are playing SMT V for the FIRST ever time so I’d like to wait to review base SMT V AND Vengeance at the same time. Hopefully this will be more engaging and allow more of you to join in on discussion!
