I'm just gonna set the record straight because this misconception is bugging me. Persona 5 Scramble is the CANON SEQUEL to Persona 5 Royal. Royal isn't non-canon, and is referenced a tad in Scramble. If you're confused as to why Royal is canon despite your questions, play it.
