someone on tiktok saying theyre mad they didnt include percy searching for the pearls because it was a major plotline.... i hate to tell you this but the movie made that up. 😭😭 HES JUST GIVEN THE PEARLS BRO
absolutely loved this scene not only because of his loyalty but also because it was a smart idea. percy will never be the idiot people make him out to be.
movie fans have been calling the show too childish when the movie was too scared to make the parents actual deadbeats so they made up a whole rule of the gods not being allowed to talk to their children 😭😭😭 meanwhile the show is going the whole way... like whoa....
percy... whose fatal flaw is loyalty..... being betrayed by someone he trusted...... by someone who was a mentor to him.... by someone he considered a real friend.......
people r gonna be angry at no scorpions but with the direction theyre taking luke in the show, it would make zero sense. luke doesnt WANT to kill percy. percy is not his enemy. the gods are.
can we talk about the cinematography in the luke reveal because it is GORGEOUS whoever decided to add fireworks (because i dont think that happens in the book does it??) is a GENIUS
“Toby Stephens, yum, wonderful, amazing actor … [is] so beloved by Dan and Jon that I knew I was going to be partnered up with someone really special, and he did not disappoint. He was a dream to work with.”

“I wanna put her in the room with this idiot who somehow won Annabeth over and it just feels like a fun story to look forward to.”
it took 4 episodes for people to turn against PJOTV. people do this with everything popular or well liked so im not surprised. i havent forgotten how people turned on barbie.
@tswiftfan9801
I understand what they were going for its just the people they chose is random.. why r some of these fictional characters and others real people??
why do you guys not want kids to have any television?? what is this obsession with making childrens media "mature"?? children deserve a show like percy jackson that has a diverse cast and isnt afraid to talk about family struggles and neurodivergency.
im gonna say it. I LOVE THE EXPOSITION IN PJOTV. i love the world so i could listen to them talk about it all day. like yes please explain glory/kleos to me im genuinely entertained.
btw, if u havent already pls leave a good score on google for PJOTV!! its mostly 5 stars, but unfortunately due to review bombing theres enough 1 stars bringing it down to a 3.5.
why does it feel like theres not a new episode tonight THE TL SHOULD BE MORE HYPED CMON!! TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT WHERE WE FINALLY FIND OUT HOW PERCY MADE THAT JUMP
why are people so concerned on how they'll do the siren scene all of a sudden.... disney owns avatar and the little mermaid. this is not their first underwater rodeo
saying that percy going to college with annabeth is out of character because he would never leave new york... do u really think he loves new york more than annabeth 😭
no because the worst of all of this is that six of crows was already written. theres an entire script just out there, already casted, that will never be made.
why do studios want everything to appeal to adults?? its like kids are not allowed to have media anymore. and this is why im happy PJOTV is so succesful because kids deserve to have good media too.
new headcanon: when percy lost his memories, over time he starts to remember luke. but he at first only remembers when luke was his friend. as his memories start to return in full, he has to suffer the betrayal all over again.
If they aren’t willing to fall into the deepest depths of hell together because they can’t stand to let go of each other… are they truly apart the greatest love story ever conversation?
tbh pjotv is doing a reallyy good job at keeping luke's betrayal secret. like they arent really doing anything that would hint at luke being a more important character other than just a mentor figure to percy when he first gets to camp, at least promo wise.
now heres some things i LOVED
1. love how they used this episode to really set up grover wanting to search for pan
2. the hermes scenes actually surprised me, i was interested and i love setting up what happened to may this early.
3. levitating was a PERFECTT song choice
omg this is making me mad everytime u guys say this. they ARE commercial breaks. some of us have poor people's disney+!!! 😭😭 they cut to commercials during the black screens istg they arent just there for nothing.
all in all that episode was really good but the abrupt fades to black like this is a cable television show needs to stop this instant. let’s be a little more creative here editing team

i was so confused at first why they made grover an ares fan but oh my god? the way grover manipulated ares just like that was INSANE he wasn’t playing around
oh i agree. because pjotv has less changes than a lot of other book-TV adaptations but people expected a 1:1 adaptation when those are very very rare so they think its no longer accurate at all and were "lied to"
i think people would be so much more receptive to changes in the pjo tv if the movies didn’t exist and set up this idea that we have to complete 180 and every difference from the book is bad

“Our job will be to build on a solid foundation. I think we're off to an excellent start, but there are always things we can do better. If we get…
what the hell do y'all be talking about because i promise you, if percy and annabeth never dated, then the story would still be the same. they are best friends above all else.
please explain to me how a 300 page book is going to stretch into 22 episodes. the audiobook is only 8 hours long and thats with percy having to describe everything
people keep forgetting how much time passes in between each pjo book. actors getting too old for their roles is only a worry when seasons r supposed to take place back to back. theres months in between each pjo book!! the actors getting older along with the characters is fine
opened the percyseries tiktok comment section and this was the first comment i saw and was like "r u fucking serious rn" and then i read the whole thing 😭
