UPDATE: Silverado experienced an issue with one of its towers due to the large storm totals we have received this season. Tower 15 was leaning causing alignment issues. The tower had to be dug out before the chair can properly hold weight. Teams are aiming for a tomorrow opening

We were performing control work on KT-22 and there was a slide. We held skiers/riders at Time Square Rock and the slide was longer than expected and crossed the Mountain Run. No guests or employees were in the area. We are working to get that terrain re-opened in the next 20 min.

We received 20" of snow in the last 24 hours and it's still storming. @NWSReno has issued a Winter Storm Advisory through 10am tomorrow. This storm WILL impact lift operations today. We have crews on mountain assessing and will keep you posted as calls are made on lift status.

We received 8 inches of new snow on our Upper Mountains within the last 24 hours, bringing our 7-day total to over 5 feet! The forecast today calls for mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid-30s to low-40s. Get out there and rip it!
