Imagine the worst weather you’ve ever personally experienced. For most, it’s probably a tornado or severe thunderstorm that lasted a few *minutes*.
Now imagine that for *hours* upon unrelenting hours. That’s what the northern Bahamas are and will be enduring with

And once

has passed, turn those prayers and good thoughts, vibes, and energies into action by donating money (not stuff) to the relief charity of your choice. Our fellow humans in the Bahamas will need help.
I’ve been doing weather professionally for two decades and watching it longer than that. The only thing I have left when I see these incredible updates from satellite, radar, recon, and the NHC is this:

The closest I can compare was a derecho that hit central NY in September 1998 The complex of storms went from 1:15a with the worst of it- finally ending around 5am and the max est. winds were 115-120mph. I can not fathom how bad it will be in the Northern parts of the Bahamas

Even those who went through hurricanes in the US probably went through something a fraction of what is going on in the Bahamas (yet still devastating), and/or only for maybe an hour or two at its peak. This is truly nature at its worst.
