Maddy Siegrist with one of the all-time best performances in Villanova history. She tallied 50 points on 20-of-26 shooting, including a 4-of-6 effort from three-point range and a 6-of-8 performance form the foul line. She also added 10 rebounds and two steals.
Maddy Siegrist finished with 41 points and 16 rebounds. She was 14-of-25 from the field, 2-of-6 from three and 11-of-14 from the foul line. She now has three, 40-point games in her career.
Senior Guard Adrianna Hahn set a new record tonight for most career three-point field goals in Villanova women’s basketball history at 284. Congratulations Adrianna! 👏
History has been made!!! With a basket at the 6:32 mark of the fourth quarter, Maddy Siegrist became the all-time leading scoring in the history of Villanova Basketball with 2,409 points. She breaks the 36-year old record that was held by Shelly Pennefather.
Maddy Siegrist has just become the 30th player in program history to score 1,000 career points and just the third to reach the milestone in two years. She is also the fastest player in Villanova women's basketball history to record 1,000 points.
In tonight's win, Maddy Siegrist became the all-time leading scorer in the history of Philadelphia women's Division I college basketball. She now has 2,610 career points. The previous mark was 2,581 by Gabriela Marginean who played at Drexel from 2006-10.
