We're having takeaway and champagne tonight despite my daughter losing her university place. We are so proud of how hard she worked and her utter dignity and bravery in handling today's outrageously unfair outcome over which she had no control. Imagine being complicit in this!

We are deeply saddened to report the passing on 20th November 2020 of The Nolan Principles aged 25, which died peacefully surrounded by a bunch of immoral, irresponsible, unaccountable incompetents. They will be buried on Page 29 of The Daily Telegraph next Wednesday at noon. RIP

It would be nice in 2019 if all teachers & educators could, at least on occasions, articulate the fact they actually like children, enjoy teaching them,& derive huge personal pleasure from being in their company. They really aren't the enemy As a parent I think that's reasonable.

The primary function of a grassroots football coach is to develop a lifelong love of the game based on mass participation and fun. This can never be achieved by excluding children of perceived lesser ability. This is not an elite sport. This is football for all.

Volunteers in grassroots football are currently under quite intolerable pressure to try and keep the game going. The very least we can all do to repay them is make sure we adhere strictly to the guidelines. This is not normal football. We are under licence. Let's not lose it.

At a recent inspection @Ofstednews I asked HMI how we can reasonably expect greater subject knowledge in primary without adversely impacting on their workload and hence well-being which is also an implicit expectation. She was unable to answer. Are you able to answer please?
