What a heartbreaking & emotional day this was for all of us who attended Dianne Oxberry’s funeral.The tears flowed throughout the service as we said our final goodbyes to the colleague we all loved at @BBCNWT - beautiful, talented & a cherished friend. Dianne was truly special xx

On this Friday 10 years ago with heavy emotion I retired from TV broadcasting & anchoring @BBCNWT for nearly 15 years. Thing is…I can’t decide whether it feels like 10 years ago or 100 years ago! But still upright, healthy & happy.I had a truly wonderful innings. 👍😊

I have voted! Took me over 5 mins in the polling booth before I finally decided on the best of a dreadful choice in my view. Left feeling slightly ashamed. That has never remotely happened before. What a political mess we are in. ☹️

Tear in my eye watching PA Jane Smith counting out @BBCNWT for the last time tonight.Heard that count so many times down my earpiece when I anchored the show & some unprintable stuff too 🤣. I worked with many PAs in my time but she was the absolute best. A huge loss to the BBC😢

It would & should have been celebrations today for former colleague and friend, ⁦ @BBCNWT ⁩ weather presenter Dianne Oxberry who we tragically lost to ovarian cancer in January.Still hugely missed.Pic is of us on a ‘sofa tour” to meet our viewers.❤️

@LesDennis @WilmslowHealth Well done Les. Had both too. Sod the anti vaccine brigade. Ignore them and spread the good news. The figures showing massive reduction in infections & hospitalisations among the over 50s has been staggering since they were vaccinated with virtually no deaths. 👍👍
