Illinois beats Nebraska 87-84 in OT. A great performance from the Huskers — and they got no help at the end of regulation from officials who called a phantom foul that allowed the Illini to tie it. That’s why it’s hard to win on the road in the Big Ten. Nebraska has yet to do it.

Well, that was the best game at Memorial Stadium since Michigan-Nebraska last year — with a couple of the best players too. Westside K Tristan Alvano: Offer him two scholarships. Gretna QB Zane Flores: No need to even say it again. Just atrocity what Nebraska did there.

Purdue QB Aidan O'Connell, who threw for 391 yards against Nebraska, and Illinois RB Chase Brown, who rushed for 180 against Minnesota, share Big Ten offensive POTW honors. Nothing for Nebraska WR Trey Palmer, whose 237 receiving yards set a single-game school record.
