What an amazing festival - a takeover of an old Soviet power plant where part of the complex is a cinema they built to provide art/entertainment for the workers, with beautiful architecture we repurposed for the 3DAV show at Inota Festival ❤️

Digits of pi mapped to a tree structure by Martin Krzywinski and animated by Nick Cobby. With the circle eventually emerging. It’s interesting how the same thing can embody total disorder on one hand (the statistically random digits) and total order (the circle) on the other.

I find most lyrics tedious, but not James Yorkston. He creates something special with rich image laden scenes, and he has provided a beautiful story for Repetition, giving it a whole new direction which speaks straight to my childhood memories of Ireland.
